IDP NEEDS….. • Architectural Drawing • Site Key Plan (Infrastructure) –make sure layout plan consists of site spot level (contour line), exist. utilities, exist. facilities, existing data extent beyond site boundary) • Building Key Plan (Structure)- Floor key plan, side-front-back elevation, building cross section • SI Report • Bore Log, SPT value..etc • MSMA (Manual SaliranMesraAlam)- Design for surface runoff. • ArahanTeknikJalan JKR – Road design • Building Work Specification – JKR • Euro Code – Structure design

  3. Documents to be submitted…. Compulsory • Infrastructure • Earthwork • Road and Drainage • Sewerage • Water reticulation • Structure Preliminary Report & Final Report Choose one

Drawing to be prepared… • Infrastructure • Earthwork • Key Plan Dwg- Slope, Retaining wall, DP or OSD, PL… • Cut and fill Dwg- differentiate with colour • Typical drawing detail Dwg- cross section for ; slope, retaining wall, earthwork. • ESCP (Erosion Sediment Control Plan) • Key plan Dwg. – propose temporary earth drain, silt trap, wash through, temporary crossing (drainage-culvert), site office location, hoarding, material storage, temporary excess. • Typical detail Dwg- Silt trap, wash through, hoarding, temporary drain, slope protection • Road and drainage (R&D) • Key Plan Dwg.- combine for both road and drainage (include road alignment, location road signage, drain network, drain invert level (IL), shoulder, parking area, road furniture.. • Typical Detail Dwg.-Pavement /Road thickness cross section, road signage, road furniture, side drain, drainage, sump, culvert and etc.. • Sewerage • Key Plan/Layout Plan – sewerage network, mainhole location, invert level, • Detail Dwg.- mainhole, longitudinal cross section for pipe network include invert level, septic tank detail or STP.

Water reticulation • Key Plan Dwg- consist of pipe network from tapping point to water tank, location of sluice valve, air valve, meter, hydrant (90m interval) • Detail Dwg- sluice valve, air valve, meter, hydrant, • Structure • Foundation lay out Dwg- pilecap/pad footing/raft-include column loading • Detail Dwg-reinforcement distribution for foundation • Each floor layout Dwg- Include beam/column/slab label. • Beam detail Dwg for each floor • Column detail for the whole storey of building • Slab detail layout Dwg for each floor • Slab cross sectional for each floor • Stair case detail • Shear wall/Lift core detail if any

Preliminary report consists of: • Brief description of project-nos of storey, project total cost, project location, space usage…. • Conceptual planning (sketch)-location of RC wall, silt trap location, beam/column/slab location, R&D location and etc… • Standard and guideline to be used; MSMA, ArahanTeknikJalan, Eurocode and etc… • Parameters and data to be used; building loading case, soil bearing capacity, slope gradient, and etc • Final report consists of: • Detail description of project and team working • Analysis and design • Calculation – for structure manual calculation and software • Drawig-key plan and detail • Cost estimation-Bill of Quantities (BQ)-taking off… • Appendices
