First Grade Chinese Immersion Back To School Night 2013 - 2014
Mrs. Golde- Blue Class • I am so excited to be a part of the Chinese Immersion Team. This will be a great year for your child! • A little bit about me: • Taught First Grade 15 + years • LOVE IT! • Lived in Utah 18 years • Brought up in Lexington, Kentucky • Have two beautiful grandchildren • Think First Grade is so much fun because the students learn to read and write. They make huge gains and love learning!
Hsiu Fang Lin is my Chinese name. You can call me Lin Laosh or Mrs. Lin (ling). I am honored to be a teacher at Syracuse Elementary School. I graduated from Taiwan's Pingtung University of Education, and have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. In Taiwan, I worked as a teacher in the public and private kindergartens for over twenty years. In July 2006, I immigrated to California, and in 2007 moved to Utah. My passion is teaching children. I worked at Eagle Bay Elementary in the Kindergarten class for six months as a volunteer and have worked as a teacher’s aide in the Chinese Immersion classes at Syracuse Elementary for one and a half years. Speaking English is still difficult for me and I appreciate your understanding and tolerance. I look forward to working with you and your children this year! Meet Mrs. Lin- Red Class
