PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES At the end of the presentation participants should be inspired and challenged to: • Have a better appreciation of the Spiritual Roots of FGBMFI’s earlier successes • Renew your focus on the Holy Spirit • Enter into the exciting adventure of being led by Him from day to day in all aspects of life

  4. INTRODUCTION • Do you know the true SPIRITUAL ROOTS of FGBMFI’s first successes?

THE SECRET You see, the Fellowship did not grow through my ability. “OUR SPIRITUAL ROOTS and our POWER come only from one source, and that is the power of the Holy Spirit.” “It was through the Holy Spirit that God released HIS POWER in a miraculous way to set the FGBMFI VISION in motion. And it is ONLY through the SAME HOLY SPIRIT that God will take us POWERFULLY into the future.” “NOTHING, NOTHING, and NOTHING man can do, or will ever do, will ever make a second of difference in eternity unless it is energized by the Power of God.”

THE DISPENSATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT • The transition from a ‘well of water’ (John 4:14) to ‘rivers of living water’ (John 7:38) • It is about being filled with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis (2 Cor 4:7) • “The Holy Spirit is the administrator of our inheritance.” Derek Prince (See John 16:15) • It is about intimacy with the Holy Spirit

  7. 3 KEY ENDOWMENTS OF THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT • POWER (Acts 1:8 – ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you …’) • Gifts of the Spirit crystallized (1 Cor. 12:1 – 8) • A new prayer language to strengthen your spiritual fabric (‘For if I pray in a tongue my spirit prays ..’ 1 Cor. 14:14; ‘He who prays in tongues edifies himself …’ 1 Cor. 14:4; ‘… He utters divine mysteries with his spirit …’ 1 Cor. 14:2; Jude 20)

YOU ARE FULLY LOADED! • “As I prayed, He told me: ‘Son I am waiting for you.’ … ‘Son, I gave you Myself, I gave you My authority, I have given you My ability, I have given you everything I can give you, I can’t give you anymore. GO DO’.” – Demos • At the least you have firmly on your side the following: • The Ministry of the Risen Lord (1 John 2:1; Mk 16:20) • The Ministry of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13–15; Jn 14:15-20) • The Ministry of Angels (Hebrews 1:14), and • Blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3)

THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER • Ephesians 1:16 – 20; 3:14 – 19; 1 Pet 2:3 • 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know … 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms … • And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. • We are seated with Him in the heavenly places (Eph. 2:6). As He is so are we in this world! • 1 Jn 4:13,15

  10. MIND YOUR GOSPEL! • Stop imprisoning yourself with a confused gospel. You are under grace (John 1:16, 17) • We have a more glorious covenant with better promises and better privileges • He blots out our sins for his name’s sake Isaiah 43:25, 4a • We have a continuous open heaven over our lives because of the finished work of Jesus Christ (Heb 10:19-20) • “Principles of the kingdom such as surrender and sowing and reaping still apply. But now the difference is that these things are a by-product of our love relationship with Him; we don’t have to do these things to appease God or seek His approval.” Shawn Gabbie

  12. THE WORD (Study, Meditate and be a Doer) • Jos 1:8 • Ps 1:1-3 • Jn 15:7-8 • Ja 1:25 “But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his"

  13. PRAYER & FASTING IS KEY (True Righteousness & Holiness) • “Our spiritual strength and our spiritual revival begins and ends with PRAYER. God is calling us back to our earlier spiritual roots, our early beginnings and the core of those early spiritual roots is PRAYER.” • “FAST AND PRAY in your local chapters. FAST AND PRAY for God’s will in your personal life. Let the Holy Spirit quicken to your heart the next move in your area. Seek God in the middle of the night.” • “GIVE TIME TO GOD!” – “The New Wave of Revival”

PRAYER: SOME POINTS OF INTEREST • “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” John 15:7 • Learn to use speaking in tongues to spark the engine of prayer • When the Spirit prompts you to pray always seek to reach the ‘gusher point’ (PUSH) • Ministering to God should take overwhelming precedence over warfare. Our highest calling is worship. God seeks to have an intimate relationship with you. The face of God comes before the hand of God! • Don’t despise prophecy. Receive guidance from prophets but don’t seek it! God does not want a second-hand relationship with you!

  15. THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT • “Wait upon His voice in your life – and when you hear it, then ACT. GO. DO.” • “Seek God, obey His will, and you too will experience a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.” • “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 • Be willing to take risks. Hamburgers goes beyond food. Mistakes are allowed (Prov. 25:2)

BE A SOUL WINNER (OBEDIENCE) • Mk 16:19-20 • Mat 28:18-20 • Lk 24:44-49 • Act 10:36-43 • Mark 16:19-20 “19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God's right hand. 20And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs”

  17. OUR CONTEXT But beloved the vision is people. The vision is God’s Holy Spirit changing lives The vision is GOD BREAKING THE CHAINS OF THE DEVIL and setting the captive free! Men and Women who were ICE COLD became ALIVE and miraculously LINKED in PRAISE and ADORATION to God through the POWER of Jesus Christ!

  18. A NEW WAVE OF REVIVAL is coming! • We have entered into the final hour of end time spiritual history. • A new wave of revival is about to EXPLODE within the body of Christ. The vision God gave to Demos will intensify in an increasingly powerful wave of His Glory! • “…get My people ready. I want to send great signs, great wonders, great miracles upon the earth. So get them ready.”

DO YOU WANT TO BE A PART? • Manifest His power through fervent prayer to activate the power of the Holy Spirit in you. • Maintain that spiritual fervor – intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit that will make you manifest His power and bear fruit that will last to His glory • PRAY IN PRAYER!!! • PRAY, PRAY AND PRAY
