  2. Welcome and thank you for your participation in the Online Gradebook Pilot Program. LAUSD is required, per the terms of the Modified Consent Decree, to implementa District-wide online gradebook and the current MiSiS Gradebook has been deemed insufficient.

  3. Goals for the Schoology Pilot • The purpose of the Online Gradebook Pilot Program is to determine whether Schoology Inc.’s gradebook is the right tool for tracking student performance for the District.

Schoology is … • From grading student activities to curriculum development and communication, Schoology has what you need for teaching and learning in ONE PLACE. • Schoology is an online and mobile education cloud that improves learning through better communication, collaboration, and increased access to grades, curriculum, and supplemental content.

  5. As a teacher, your role in the pilot will be to use the Online Gradebook to: • Enter your student assignments • Submit grades into the tool for 15th and 20th week marks • Provide feedback based on your usage of the gradebook

  6. Training opportunities Advanced Beginners Available in Computer Labs with more detailed assistance. When: TBD Intermediate • Assisted training using Schoology Gradebook: Self-Paced PD-LAUSD in the computer labs. • When: TBD • Self training using Schoology Gradebook: Self-Paced PD-LAUSD • Assistance provided through email.
