Brief facts: An NGO established in June 2000, registered in March 2009Works in the field of international development cooperation and global educationFounding member of SKOP (national NGDO platform, currently chaired by KOPIN’s representative), a member of the Maltese Forum for Justice and Cooperation, and active in various national and international networks

  2. VisionKopin envisions a global and inclusive society where citizens are equally empowered to contribute to a world free of poverty and any other forms of injustice

  3. MissionOur mission is to contribute actively to the alleviation of global poverty and social injustice by:a. Engaging in sustainable projects together with partners from the majority worldb. Providing services to vulnerable populations in Malta with a particular focus on migrant children

  4. Mission(cont.)c. Promoting and providing development education and increasing public awareness to sensitise and mobilise citizens to participate in the development debated. Building capacities of its members and its partnerse. Monitoring political processes and engaging in policy dialogue with decision makers to influence the debate on Maltese and European policies related to development, migration and child’s rights.
