Objectives • To obtain the head principal position at Lebanon Middle School in the Russell County Public School System. • To be a positive influence on the faculty, staff, students, stakeholders, and academic process at Lebanon Middle School.
Vision Statement I believe that Lebanon Middle School is to provide a stimulating learning environment that is safe and challenging for students and faculty alike. Our school, partnering with parents, and stakeholders should prepare students for the challenges that lie ahead. Those include but are not limited to being responsible, caring, and well informed members of an ever changing society.
Principal Vacancy Russell County Public Schools are looking for a leader who can articulate a vision for Lebanon Middle School. We are looking for an individual who will maintain high expectations for students, and create and maintain excitement for teaching and learning among faculty, staff, and stakeholders.
Principal Vacancy (cont) Potential candidate should hold or be eligible for Virginia State Principal License, posses a strong academic background and have a firm grasp of the principles and practices of effective principal leadership in the middle school setting.
Qualifications • 2011 graduate of Radford University’s Educational Leadership Program • Strong emphasis on technology which includes coursework with the following: • Web 2.0 applications • SMART BOARD Technology • Interactive Achievement • Tyler Education Management Systems • SASI
Qualifications (cont.) • Microsoft Office • Data desegregation • Promote collaboration between administration, faculty, and stakeholders (ISLLC #2) • Emphasis on school safety (ISLLC #3) • Promotes the success of all students (ISLLC #1-6) • Encourages staff development and growth (ISLLC #2)
