Clothing • For Everyday use man wear cotton wrapper a shirt and sandals • Women wear wraps for both informal and formal occasions • Formal clothing for Men are long shirts often decorated with tweaks and embroidery • Women wear a hair tie and rectangular piece of cloth that can be wore different ways

  3. Examples of Clothing • She wore a coiffure which was done up into a crest in the middle of the head • She wore a black necklace which hang down in three coils just above her full succulent breasts

  4. Food • Nigerian chophouses typically list a number of soups with meat or fish ingredients with pound yams, ebo, semouita or jollof rice • Osbono soup draw based on ogbono pods. • Vegetable soup, Meat, Goat, Turkey, Dry Fish, stock fish • Okro soup, yellollowish soup made out of sliced okro pods

Funeral Ceremonies • Ibo tribes performs intricate burials and funeral ceremonies • Cheifs funeral ceremonies are very bloody • Cheifs family washes his body directly in the death chamber not in a special wash room. Body on (ojo) and covers it(material) Symbolizing rebirth • After the ritual there are sacrifices the children must do

  7. Differences between Ibo && Us • Ibo’s During Funerals they have to sacrifice different things because they believe that they find the gate during this process. And during a funeral we speak on the behalf of that person and all the good memories we shared along with the person. • Ibo’s Clothing during different occasions are always there everyday wear. On the other hand we dress up formal and presentable. • Ibo’s Food during different occasions they eat soup, goats, yams. While we eat at fast restaurants, baked foods, salads, McDonalds Burgers && Fries, ect.

  8. Similarities BETWEEN IBO && US • We play music, dance, eat food at different occasions • We have ceremonies for different events • We both are known to be cultural && traditional
