  2. Background • Written by Jennie Wilson (1857-1913) in 1905. • She was in wheel chair from age 4 throughout her life. • She wrote about 650 songs, this one is her best known!

  3. Background • Music by Franklin L. Eiland (1860-1909) • Established singing school in Waco, TX. • He trained many composes whose hymns we sing today, including Tillit S. Teddlie.

  12. Vs. 4 – Hope in heaven • Fair and bright the home in glory, your enraptured soul will view - “enraptured” – delighted beyond measure. Imagine the scene in heaven when you arrive there! 1 Thess. 4:15-18
