What is the AAM Project? • Federally funded project of Library of Congress to highlight resources of American Memory Website • Designed to prepare teachers to access, use, and produce curriculum using the digitized primary source materials from the Library of Congress
Using the Internet to Connect Bradley University with the Library of Congress • Interactive video workshop conducted by Library of Congress with Bradley University History and Social Studies majors Joint project between History, Teacher Education and Library of Congress
Video Workshop Goals • Prepare preservice teachers to use the Library of Congress (LOC) website in the classroom • Introduce History and Social Studies majors to the primary source materials found on the LOC website
Participation in Project: • Open to all preservice teachers at Bradley University • Open to all History and Social Studies majors
