Technology council and thought leadership groups driven by internal champions – These initiatives are tied to the marketing and executive branches of the company to ensure that technical contributions have a market for their product/services. Intellectual property developed by our employees will receive royalties and recognition if their IP becomes profitable.
MasterPeace Solutions, Ltd. Technology Lab/Innovation Center A Technology Lab/Innovation Center is planned as the company reaches critical mass. This lab will incorporate products loaned to the company by vendors and integrated into a solutions development operating environment by our staff. • MasterPeace staff will select solutions or products to develop, in concert with our customer requirements, and will be able to accelerate the progress of these solutions by utilizing talent that is between projects. • MasterPeace intends to bid on research grants from DARPA, IARPA, NRL, ARL, IN-Q-TEL, and other government-funded research organizations as the lab is developed. • Research projects will focus on the core competencies of the company with the purpose of generating unique intellectual property. The company will align the efforts with current work being conducted by our applied engineers. These core competencies dovetail with the company overall mission and are explicitly delineated in the Strategic Business Plan.

Intellectual Property Development • Through our Lab and Innovation center we expect to create opportunities for our people to create solutions and technologies. • This can be accomplished both within the lab and through our “virtual lab” capability. • We have developed mechanisms to monetize the intellectual property and then share the royalty stream and/or profits with the original inventors. • We expect to publicize the inventors of technologies through a technical Public Relations program. • We have conceptualized a technology “spin-off” capability backed by a consortium of pre-screened Venture Capitalists, Private Equity, Angel Investors and Specialty Banks. This capability will enable us to incubate intellectual property until it is mature enough to attract external funding. • The inventors have the option of moving to the “spin-off” company and earning equity in the new company.

Reward for Performance At MasterPeace we are looking for those people who can make a difference; to our company, to a technical project, for a customer, and all with the purpose of keeping our country safe. We are looking for people who can do more than they have been allowed or supported to in the past. And we have built into our budget, rewards for these contributions. Performance bonuses will be awarded for superior performance and contributions related to business expansion (via new business development, existing client expansion due to technical excellence and superior customer satisfaction,, participation in proposals resulting in contract awards, etc.).

And the more that you contribute above and beyond your normal job, the better the chance for receiving additional stock options. Shareholder value – The company business plan is designed to drive non-linear growth, thereby significantly increasing shareholder value. The company plans on exploring an IPO event or acquisition of a public shell within a 5-year time period. This would create a liquidity event for shareholders. It is also contemplated that the company may adopt an internal trading system (similar to SAIC’s original plan), which would also create liquidity for shareholders.
