  2. Guns are dangerous when not used correctly. But do you know what else is dangerous?

  3. Drugs 36,000 people died from drug overdoses. About 14,800 of the 36,000 deaths were from pain killer prescriptions.

  4. Alcohol 32,367 people die from traffic related accidents. 9,878 of those accidents are from people who drive under the influence. Alcohol also destroys the liver and kidneys.

  5. Smoking 400,000 people die premature from smoke whether it be second had or first hand. 9 million other people have some sort of diseases or illness due to smoking tobacco. Smoking tobacco can lead to heart disease, lung disease, throat disease and all kinds of cancer all over your body. Smoking affects millions of people.

  6. Guns There are about 32,000 deaths a year from guns. About 60% of the deaths are from suicide. The other 40% are from homicides, accidents, and other missuses.

  7. Conclusion Are guns dangerous? Yes Should we do all we can to keep them out of the wrong hands? Yes Are there other things we can focus more of our attention then trying to ban guns? Yes
