Yes! We are warm-blooded and we have live birth. We don’t hatch and we don’t go through metamorphosis like some of the other animals we have talked about.
He looks different than he does now, he will grow and change all of his life, but he is just a young version of who he will become. Let’s see if you can match some more baby mammals to their mommies.
Mammals have what is called a simple life cycle. This just means that mammals are BORN and then they GROW UP.
We don’t go through any metamorphosis although we do change gradually as we grow and age.
