  4. That was a fun book about the power of wind! Did you know that wind plays a big role in helping plants grow and reproduce?

  5. Wind carries seeds from plants and drops them somewhere else to grow! This helps the plants survive by allowing them to grow in many different places. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWo-4F_FXes

  6. Did you see the seeds traveling with the wind? In the video, the seeds didn’t go very far but some seeds travel great distances with the wind! Look at the incredible seeds in this next video!

  8. WOW! Isn’t nature fascinating! So much of what is man-made is based on something that already existed in nature!

  9. Homework:Tear a piece of paper into different size pieces and try to throw them into the trash can. Can you predict where they will land? That is a lot like a seed travelling with the wind! See you next time Scientists!
