  1. WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF GOD? Is God A Great Spirit – Vague & Impersonal? Is He Like A Grandfather Who Grants Wishes? Does He Have A “Plan” For Every Individual? Ps 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

  2. WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF GOD? Ps 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Jer 9:23-24: Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD.

  3. WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF GOD? Ps 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” GOD IS NOT LIKE MAN! Num. 23:19; Jn. 4:24 Num 23:19: "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”

Ps 50:16-21: But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth, 17 Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you? 18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him, And have been a partaker with adulterers. 19 You give your mouth to evil, And your tongue frames deceit. 20 You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son. 21 These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes.

Num. 23:19; Jn. 4:24 GOD IS NOT OUR SERVANT! Ps. 50:16-21 God’s wrath was against the heathen when they changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into the image of corruptible man, Rom. 1:18-23

Acts 17:24-28 24 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and have our being,

  10. Rev 4:8-11 - The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy,Lord God Almighty,Who was and is and is to come!" 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 "You are worthy, O Lord,To receive glory and honor and power;For You created all things,And by Your will they exist and were created."

GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT MAN'S WAYS ISAIAH 55:8-9 HIS WORD MUST BE OBEYED, Deut. 4:2; 2 Jn 9 Deut 4:2: “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take anything from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.” 2 John 9: “Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.”

GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT MAN'S WAYS ISAIAH 55:8-9 HIS WORD MUST BE OBEYED, Deut. 4:2; 2 Jn 9 “All that is written” 2 Kgs. 22:13 "Go, inquire of the LORD for me, for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the LORD that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us."

  14. KNOW THAT I AM GOD! GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT MAN'S WAYS ISAIAH 55:8-9 HIS WORD MUST BE OBEYED, Deut. 4:2; 2 Jn 9 “All that is written” 2 Kgs. 22:13 Uzzah, 2 Sam. 6:6-7 Nadab & Abihu, Lev. 10:1-2 GO NOT BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN, 1 Cor. 4:6 “Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written."

GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT MAN'S WAYS ISAIAH 55:8-9 HIS WORD MUST BE OBEYED, Deut. 4:2; 2 Jn 9 “All that is written” 2 Kgs. 22:13 Uzzah, 2 Sam. 6:6-7 Nadab & Abihu, Lev. 10:1-2 GO NOT BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN, 1 Cor. 4:6 Respect Silence of the Bible, Heb. 7:14 Use The Test Jesus Asked, Matt. 21:25 Matt. 15:7-9

  16. THE TEST JESUS USED: Matt 21:25: “The baptism of John--where was it from? From heaven or from men?“ Matt. 15:7-9: “Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"

  18. 2 Cor 1:3-4 – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” Eph 5:1 - Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

  19. WHAT IS YOUR VIEW OF GOD? • PATTERN YOUR LIFE TO WORSHIP AND REVERENCE HIM AS CREATOR! • BECOME HOLY AS HE IS HOLY BY HUMBLY OBEYING HIS WILL! • CONSTANTLY GIVE THANKS AND PRAISE TO HIM AS GOD OF MERCY & COMFORT!

  20. 2 Peter 1:3-4 – “as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. John 14:23 – “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
