  3. An unusual opportunity… • 10,505 checked Black/African/African American • 6,440 checked American Indian • 8,368 checked Asian American • 8,167 checked a Hispanic/Latino group • 102,049, checked White • (Quite a few teens checked more than one group)

  4. 2010 statewide tables for racial-ethnic groups • Two sets of tables for each group • American Indian “Alone” –checked only American Indian • American Indian “Alone or in combination with other groups” –checked American Indian plus at least one other group • A set of tables for “Multiple Races” –all who checked two or more groups. • 2010 tables on web site: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/chs/mss, click on statewide tables and scroll down
