  1. Eragon By: Christopher Paolini Genre: Fantasy Main Characters: Eragon: Is basically the main character through out the whole book. He starts out as a poor farm boy but when he finds a “stone” in the spine it turns out to be a dragon egg. So Eragon becomes a dragon rider with his dragon Saphira. Brom: Is a wise man that Helps Eragon quite a Bit through out the Journey only to meet A fatal end.

  2. Saphira: Is Eragon’s dragon. She is smart, strong and fast. Without Saphira Eragon would be helpless. Saphira Brom Galbotorix Galbotorix: Is the Evil King who tries to rule Alagasia which is basically the main setting of the story. But what he really wants is Saphira.   5. Summary At the beginning of the story Eragon is hunting in a place called the Spine. He’d been chasing the same deer for quite a while when “BOOM!” there in the spine out of nowhere a marvelous sapphire appeared in front of Eragon. Eragon brought the stone back to his home town of Carvahall. He tries to sell it to Sloan, the local butcher, but Sloan refuses to buy it because of where it was found. (Sloan’s wife died in the Spine.) After Eragon brought the stone home and had it for about a week it hatched. (It wasn’t a stone, but an egg) Eragon cared for the Dragon ( Saphira) greatly. Then one day a group of mysterious creatures called the Razac killed Eragon’s uncle Garrow, which was his guardian. They also destroyed Eragon’s farm. Eragon wants revenge so he leaves to go kill the Razac, But of course Brom comes with him. Brom has many secrets of his own and knows much about magic, sword fighting, saddle making and other things. Many of these things he teaches Eragon. Some he does not. Unfortunately Brom meets a fatal death. But does travel to cities with Eragon such as Yazuac, Tierm, Therinsford and Drasleona. This story is an action packed adventure of fun!
