Overview • 2009 Donation from the Association of American Publishers and their leading Post-Postsecondary Publishers • Membership Driven Organization with Advisory Committee • ATN helps college students with print disabilities by connecting their disability service offices directly with leading textbook publishers to obtain electronic files. • Request and download publisher textbook files • Search and download accessible textbooks • Track and report what textbooks files are coming in and going out
Overview • Membership is free for schools and publishers • Premium Membership is $500/year • Includes Accessible File Exchange • Schools who contribute 25 files to the Exchange receive free access • Accessible Textbook Finder (ATF) is Free
Membership Services Activity Report • 1,140 Member Schools, 12 Member publishers • 7Alternate Media Centers (representing 310+ Schools) • 62,950 Requests since 8/24/09 • Average Fulfillment is 4 Days • 80% of Requests are for PDF, 20% MS Word
Membership Services Accessible File Exchange Library • Schools contribute student-ready files in PDF, Word, DAISY, MP3, KESI, or Braille, which are stored on the ATN server. • Premium members can download files after publisher approves request.

Publisher Services Activity Report • New Publishers: Jones & Bartlett, FA Davis, Lynne Rienner Publishers and Springer Publishers • Publisher members now have the choice of storing files on the ATN server for faster delivery.
Accessible Textbook Finder (ATF) Beta • August 14, 2011 ( Beta Launch) • ATF is a Free service • The Accessible Textbook Finder searches multiple sources of accessible books and provides the results in a combined format.
