  5. LAUNCH! Sept 16, 2009 Over 200 attendees Various sectors , public and private, 34 orgs total Media coverage Created the momentum to get people excited about Stepping Up!

  6. Bringing together 7 different org from gov, non-gov and healthcare in a more focused way and successfully developing a strategy • Greater awareness and acceptance of SU within partner orgs. Examples: • HRM- linkages to other strategies, synergies, budget, staff more connected • IWK-Physical activity sub-site on intranet • HRSB-awareness, internal activities, sport animator, health promotion dept. Identified priority actions Speaking the same PA language Funding from partners to support the strategy Organizational strategy focused on mobilizing org to help make PA easy choice Foundational structure (committees, PMO) • Executing Step…Accomplishments
