Documenting Vaccines In Admin-Rx • In addition to scanning the vaccine(s) as you would other meds, the manufacturer, lot # and VIS version date as well as immunization education must be documented. • Remember to check Immunization History in StarPanelbefore administering to assure there are not contraindications to giving ( ie pt has not already had) Step 2. Click and annotate the manufacturer, lot # and VIS version date Step 1. Scan and document the vaccine as you would other meds Immunizations Education • VIS given • Answered ? • S/Sx to report Multi-select drop-down; select all 3 Step 3. Document Vaccine Education: a) VIS given; b) Questions answered; c) Taught signs and symptoms of adverse reaction to report

Entering Vaccine History on Immunization Record 1) Click Historical 4) Click Save as Draft button to document meds in center box given on selected date 2) Select admin. Date from calendar Auto-populated 3) Select vaccines from list & click Add button to move to center box. 5) Review for accuracy and click as indicated to save
