  9. Know Your Responsibility It is your responsibility to become familiar with and abide by these practices, as well as report any violation of academic integrity by classmates, College faculty, or staff. Any violations should be reported to the Judicial Coordinator at ESF.

Academic Dishonesty Judicial Process • Instructor suspects academic integrity violation and notifies student • Instructor communicates with Judicial Coordinator • Student can take responsibility for the violation or appeal the allegation • Instructor/Committee will determine appropriate sanction

  11. An Example of Academic Integrity Violations Sanctions will be determined on a case specific basis by the adjudicator or the Academic Honesty Committee.

  13. Jurisdiction(AKA, do not run to ESF yelling “Sanctuary!”) Any violation of academic integrity on Syracuse University property or in an SU class is a violation of the SU Code of Student Conduct and is subject to review by the SU Judicial Coordinator
