  2. When, Where? • Proposed to be July 20-24 2009 • Where: • Sydney - likely at one of the Universities • Venue will have at least Gigabit connectivity for demonstrators • Venue will have full conference facilities • Venue will be close to City

  3. About Sydney • Largest City in Australia - population 4 million people. • A vibrant city where there’s plenty to do and see • A beautiful harbour • A uniquely Australian experience • Many picturesque places near by • Blue Mountains • Beaches • National Parks

Travel Arrangements • Large international airport serviced by many airlines • Trains, buses and taxis from the airport • Accommodation close to venue suiting all needs • Many hotels, motels catering for all kinds of needs • It is proposed to accommodate most delegates within a central hotel facility

  5. Universities and Research Institutes in NSW/ACT • Opportunities to visit colleagues and collaborators at research and education institutes in Australia especially NSW/ACT • Universities in Sydney • Sydney University • University of New South Wales • University of Technology Sydney • MacQuarie University • University of Western Sydney • Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory is only 300kms away
