Our Training Objectives • raise awareness of the potential of transnational workforce representation bodies • spread the aims and positions of the trade unions and their federations • discuss solidaric ways to jointly defend employees´ interests • analyse strengths and weaknesses of the body show ways to improve the group´s work • support the bodies in becoming an active player in the company • bridge gaps between different backgrounds, systems, approaches, cultures, languages • deliver inputs on topics the group has to deal with Framework Conditions needs of the EWC „training history“ trade union relationship composition of the group duration of the training budget number of the participants languages, countries A Training Course is Determined by Training Modules & Methods legal frameworks contents of agreements evaluation of practice workforce representation systems communication of the rep body how to address shared topics negotiation strategies etc, etc

Organsiational Process of an EWC Course – the ideal case find trainers, perhaps experts inform / involve ETUF, coordinator, TU Y -6 weeks preparation of course and materials Y -4 weeks day X translation of materials request for training approval of proposal find venue when? price and programme proposal prepare contracts preparation of folders Y -10 days X +2 weeks Y -4 working days send materials company pays the bill Y +1 month payments and billing delivery of the training report back to ETUI file closed report back to ETUF, coordinator, MO Y +1 week day Y company reps & management BD/MV MG/CB trainers ETUF as trainer, participant, expert, client…. mandatory optional
