The beeches are honey moon capital and the sea is very calm, warm and beautiful. The sand is golden and warm. The rainforest has tropical beautiful trees. The rainforest has loads of coconut trees. 2. Hurricanes St Lucia was hit by a hurricane. The hurricane is called hurricane Tomas this devastating hurricane hurtled through St Lucia! The government said it would cost hundreds of millions of pounds to repair this damage. The date of this destruction was on Monday first of November 2010. 12 people were confirmed dead how sad is that! All this destruction by hurricane Tomas. Have you ever wondered what a hurricane does? A hurricane can last for days however a tornado lasts for a couple of hours. Hurricanes are 600 miles across and travel at a speed of 74 miles per hour to be a hurricane any less and they wont be a hurricane they will be a tropical storm. The hurricanes bring heavy rain and high waves to the cost . How bad is that . Hurricane Tomas caused devastating destruction in St Lucia !
