How does CBS earn Tuition Revenue? • 25% of the tuition paid by a student goes to the college they are enrolled in. • 75% of the tuition paid by a student goes to the college of the course they took.
Revenues per Undergrad • Banded Resident Tuition + Fees = $9,120 + $1,200 • CBS share = $4,902 *Typical CBS student takes 1/3 courses from CBS, 1/3 from IT, 1/3 from CLA
Revenue per Grad Student in GCD or BMBB • Grad at Banded Rate- $11,212 (2 sem) CBS share =$5,354
Revenue per Grad Student in EEB, MICE, PlantBio • Grad at Banded Rate- $11,212 (2 sem) CBS share =$10,707
How can we Increase Tuition Revenue? • Increase the number of students enrolled in our programs • Increase our offerings of existing courses and draw more students who might otherwise take a course in another college • Offer new courses to all majors.
How can we decrease our costs? • Faculty teach more, reducing the need for hired instructors
