A transnational project implemented by SCIENTIFIC MEETING, MILAN WP 7 - URBAN ENVIRONMENT Case Studies: state of art and activities’ ‘‘Red line’’ • Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia/Italy:two pilot cases on possible economic aspects connected with 1) the environmental certification of a model territory, • 2) recovery of abandoned areas due to elimination of borders; • Region of Piedmont/Italy: two pilot cases on • 1) renovation of old traditional hamlets to sustain tourism and • agricultural-breeding activities, • 2) refurbishment of traditional buildings based on an innovative • assessment tool whose acronym is AEBAT;
