“The Story Begins” Ellesmere Port Jobcentre Plus has enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with it’s local College. We have been working on site here for three and a half years and our business model has evolved and adapted throughout that time.
“The Vision Begins” The 16-24 JCP Youth Hub opened 11th June 2012 with the facility being designated specifically for customers aged 16-24 years old. Making this community hub a fully functioning Youth JCP situated within the Ellesmere Port West Cheshire College Campus building. Engage Young People in activities which support their aspirations. Motivate, inspire and empower young people to advance into sustainable employment Seek to reduce overall youth unemployment in the community Show them more viable options as alternatives to Welfare support Address personal circumstances and situations which may prevent engagement Utilise all available resources to support these young customers.
Working in Partnership West Cheshire College are a main provider of support for the Young Unemployed Customers of Ellesmere Port Through a range of bespoke vocational courses Young Jobseeker’s are encouraged to explore all available career opportunities
