Health Primes represented on LMHEP Created NHS & Primes Working Group to develop joint strategy Initial discussions with National Treatment Agency Group November onwards Meeting all JCM of DAAT services Present to Service User Council Proposal on joint working with NHS January 2012 Meet with deliverers of DAAT by Borough Begin DAAT Training in some boroughs for advisors on provision March 2012 Review progress with NTA and Mental Health Leads Identify opportunities for piloting links with MH services May 2012 Seeking MH and DAAT provision with one point of contact Public Health – cascading all services to Primes Identifying gaps for future co comissioning Looking at possible job opportunities in NHS On going
Further Development • Primes interested in further joint investment (Financial/ Resource/ Time) • “TFL model” • Needs to have minimum numbers of jobs and sustainability. Looking for join up of other provision and investment to maximise sustainability. • Regeneration Projects • Assessment of proposed regen programmes and decided on 4 projects of joint working. • Specific large employers : • NHS • Cross Rail • Supermarkets • Encourage workshop with large employers – how could joint working maximise recruitment strategy and employment outcomes for both?
Further Development/ Purpose What we are not representing • Developing the same supply chain/ programme • Work Programme London Lobbying body (Still remains ERSA) What we can represent • Simplify Employers access to our customers • Simplify Commissioners / key stakeholders route to work with us (ie NHS, Local Authorities, colleges) • Look to integrate local provision for our customers and guidance on best partners to work with. • Identify local issues and create solutions. (Universal Credit, Ex Offenders, Housing)
