1. Bhangarh Fort in Alwar: fear is born here • This 17th-century fort in Rajasthan is considered as one of the scariest and hauntingly beautiful places in India • An architectural marvel that stands across time has been marked unsafe after evening by the Archaeological Survey of India. • Various myths and past floats around this fort. Some talk about bloodthirsty ghosts while few others talk about man-eating tigers, whatever be, Bhangarh fort is considered to be the most haunted place in India.
2. Brijraj Bhawan Palace Hotel: Book a room with the harmless ghost • During 1857, Indian sepoys killed Major Burton in his residence, the Brijraj Bhawan Palace in Kota. He along with his two sons were hiding in a room on the second floor when they barged in. They were cornered and killed by the sepoys. • Years after, the palace was converted into a hotel. People visiting the hotels and guards have reported on hearing an English man’s shouts. There hasn’t been any incident of men missing or getting killed on the premises. Hence the ghost of Major is considered harmless.
3. Dumas Black Sand Beach in Surat: Sunsets, tides and Ghost. • Beaches are not always about sunsets, waves or horizons. A beach named Dumas black sand beach in the western state of Gujarat is famous for paranormal activities. It’s said that the beach was used as burial ground for Hindus which is why the sand has turned black. • Adding to this, some says the evil spirits roam around the beach at night. Dumas black sand beach is one of the most stunningly beautiful beaches but then, those tides and the unending black sand can welcome a factor of fear.
4. GP Block in Meerut: Fear is all cool • An abandoned building midst of thick green trees, its branches living over the building walls and creepers climbing up. The mood sets our mind back to a horror film. • Residents nearby say that they have reportedly seen a woman in red saree and young men drinking and laughing in front of the building. • No missing or strange deaths have been reported from the block or nearby place. But the building gives you chill through the spine and takes you to the brim of unbelievability.
5. Graveyard in Dagshai: All ghost aren’t evil • Ghosts are not always with long hair covering the face or walking up over the ceiling with a shabby white cloth. Sometimes ghost looks like angels, if not anywhere, but at the cemetery of Dagshai. • In 1909, eight-month pregnant wife of a British officer was buried here after she met with an accident. Out of unending love for his wife and unborn baby, the British officer made a marble structure of a lady and her baby over his wife’s grave. • Its believed now, that the marble structure now blesses the woman who has difficulties in having a baby.
