Twitter’s Longer Tweets After announcing them in May, Twitter will implement changes in how characters sign up to tweet toward the current limit on September 19. Individuals fighting to fit their flair within 140 letters will have more space to express their needs or the brand they're talking to. As opposed to extending the limit for the risk of losing customers who value short promotions Twitter offers; The online network giant has chosen to change its extremes. In a screenshot of an advertisement written in iOS notes back in January, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey expressed that Twitter's 140-character limit has just been implemented to make Tweets fit into SMS text messages, but he's now cherished by it. He does not wish to "lose that" tendency "for imagination and speed. Starting September 19th, media connections (photos, GIFs, recordings, polls, etc.) and mentioned Tweets will not reduce selection. Usernames, when you are at the beginning of answers, will no longer be scanned which reduces your irritation for that connection with the extra long handle. "This is the most remarkable change we've made recently about discussion specifically, about giving individuals the full expression of 140 characters," CEO Jack Dorsey told The Verge in May. "I am eager to see more exchange as a result." Although part of the progress is due to start next Monday, it is not clear if it is an ongoing subtraction or if all of the aforementioned is turned off it will stop numbering towards the customer's letter limit without delay for a moment.
