Safety Code 35 and the O.H.S. Regulation

Stay compliant with Safety Code 35 and OHSR regulations for equipment installation, operation, and maintenance. Designated qualifications, supervision, and staff training are key to ensure safety.   2. SC 35 and the OHSR OHSR Section 7.23 states: Equipment must be installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the Safety Code, as amended from time to time. effective new “must” statements SC 20A to stay on-line

  3. SC 35 and the OHSR Responsible User: Must have designated qualification 2 new responsibilities: to ensure supervision document rules and ensure effective staff training

  4. SC 35 and the OHSR Medical Physicist/Radiation Safety Officer: Must have designated qualification New responsibilities: to schedule periodic inspections ensure the dosimeters are worn Note: all responsibilities previously were “should”
