During free hours, BCM also offers special initiatives such as music workshops in partnership with Little Orchestra Society, classes in the Museum’s new art studio, ColorLab, and programs for children with special needs in our sensory room. 6. School & Afterschool Programs Email sercin@brooklynkids.org for more information. • Fund Free Title I Public School Visits $10,000 to $100,000 • Brooklyn Children’s Museum hosts school groups for STEM and arts programs on weekday mornings. School visits cost approximately $250 per class, a price that many schools in Brooklyn – especially Title I schools – are unable to pay. Funders can support field trips for underserved schools in the following ways: • $10,000 funds 40 free visits for Title I schools. • $25,000 funds 100 free visits for Title I schools, and entitles funder to corporate membership at the “Patron” level. • $50,000 funds 200 free visits for Title I schools, and entitles funder to corporate membership at the “Benefactor” level. • After School & Summer Camp Sponsorship $25,000 to $100,000 • Brooklyn Children’s Museum provides daily after school and summer camp for 200 children annually at PS 189 on the Crown Heights/Brownsville border at no charge to families. This program offers arts and STEM enrichment activities, homework help, and physical education, as well as critical childcare that allows parents to hold jobs. After school runs from 2:30pm to 6:00pm daily and from 8:00am to 6:00pm on many school holidays. Camp runs from 8:00am to 6:00pm during the summer months. • $25,000 funds after school for 10 children at PS 189, allowing their parents to work during the day knowing that they have access to high quality enrichment. Companies who support after school programs receive corporate membership at the “Patron” level. • $100,000 underwrites 40 children at PS 189 and entitles the funder to corporate membership at the “Benefactor” level. • $250,000 funds the entire after school and summer program at Brooklyn Children’s Museum and entitles the funder to corporate membership at the “Benefactor” level. The Museum would create press and event opportunities to widely publicize a gift of this size.

Company employees are invited to volunteer on these days at all levels of giving. • $10,000 supports a single festival weekend. Corporate funders are highlighted on all signage and materials and company employees receive free admission on the festival day for themselves and their families and friends. • $25,000 supports three festival weekends. Supporters receive corporate membership at the “Patron” level and all benefits outlined above. • $100,000 supports all festival weekends throughout the year. Supporters receive corporate membership at the “Benefactor” level, all benefits above, and promotion of the partnership in press releases and signage throughout the Museum’s space.
