David Terry, Port Chester Teacher worked as the teacher of Native Language Arts from 1988-1994 at Park West High School – New York, NY. While working there, he taught Native Language Arts in Spanish- all levels. He also taught Spanish as a Foreign Language.
In 2001, David Terry developed a lesson, featuring a parallel task (based on the ELA Regents exam), which was published in the NY State Resource guide titled The Teaching of Language Arts to Limited English Proficient/ English Language Learners.
In 1992-93, David Terry held the position of Grade Advisor (performing guidance responsibilities), for 11th and 12th-grade students. He also taught ESOL to all grade levels under a provisional license.
David Terry, Port Chester Teacher graduated as a valedictorian from Downsville Central School in 1982. Later on, he graduated in 1986 from Wesleyan University. There he taught with Upward Bound program during college.
