Mszanka is a small village. It is situated in the south-east of Poland. It is in Malopolska voivodeship. Gorlice is the nearest town. Cracow is the nearest big city.
Mszanka was foundet in 1364 as a royal possession. The Primary School inMszanka started in 1903. The Catholic church was built in 1939. During the First World War in 1915 there was a front boundary and a heavy battle here.
Currently, about 900 people live in Mszanka. There are about 260 houses. Some of them are wooden and old, and some of them are new and made of bricks.There are 5 farms in Mszanka. The farmers keep cows, pigs and hens. They aslo grow plants and crops. In the village there is a small company producing wood fuel for heating furnaces.
Mszanka is located in a small flatvalley. There are some small forests and hillsaround. The hills are about 400 metres abovesealevel. In theseforests there are deer, foxes, hares, pheasants and differentbirds. The streamflows through the village.
In the centre of the village there are: People’s Houses, a grocery shop, a bus stop, a GP practice and a pharmacy. There is aslo a school building, a church and a cementery. The road through the village is asphalt.We think thatMszanka is a nice quiet place to live.
