Adding Narration • You can add a voice over narration for the entire slideshow very easily. Choose Narration from the SlideShow menu option. Talk through the first slide, then click the next page arrow to move to the next page. Start talking through this slide, then click the next page arrow to get to the third slide. Keep going!
Re-Recording a Slide • As the program drops your voice over onto each slide, a speaker icon will appear on your slide. If you need to change the recording for that slide, simply click on the speaker icon and re-record.
Adding a slide • Click on SLIDE THEMES and choose a presentation
Bringing in pictures • Take a picture in PhotoBooth – it’s fun and you can be very creative! • Notice the camera roll on the bottom of PhotoBooth – click on one or all of the pictures to SELECT them, then select iPhoto to save them. Click this box to save
Uploading Photo • Be mindful about photo size – the smaller the better! • Click on your photo in iPhoto, choose EXPORT from the EDIT menu and save your picture to a file on your desktop – select the smallest size! • To add your photo to a PowerPoint slide, choose INSERT from the menu bar, then select PICTURE and click on the picture you want to include:
Scaling back your photos • After inserting a photo, the size usually covers the entire PowerPoint page, use the handles to resize your photo
Voice Recording • Click on the SLIDE SHOW menu option and select RECORD NARRATION and press RECORD
