QVR Search Screen Output and Sort Options Standard Hit List (Basic) One-line hit list containing the application number, Links*, PI name and title Standard Hit List (Detailed) Two-line hit list containing the items above and RFA/PA, Council round, Priority score/percentile score, IRG, IC-PCC and institution Summary Hit List Same as above but provides the Print Central, PDF download and ZIP file download of groups of summary statement (See next slide) Résumé Hit List Same as Standard Hit List (Detailed) PLUS the Résumé and Summary of Discussion (from the Summary Statement) Reports Option A series of pre-formatted reports in either Excel or MS Word Custom Download Allows the user to search the IMPAC II database and select data elements for download into an Excel spreadsheet

  9. IC-Specific Data Query Logic There will be more than one type of data that ICs will want to capture. SCIENTIFIC INDEXING DATA This is the primary group (including the weighting factor) Boolean logic operators may be utilized with scientific terms BUDGET DATA Interim budget reductions/adjustments before making an award A good model for the NIDA system. OTHER DATA Data types such as what FIC captures in their local database. This includes the foreign PI on projects. 

  10. IC-Specific Data Query Logic The search strategy can be based on a combination of IMPAC data and IC-specific data. Initiating a search will result in a hit list similar to the QVR “Basic Hit List (Detailed)” The user may select particular records using the “check boxes.” User may download IMPAC data and IC-specific data in HTML or to a spreadsheet User may select “frozen data” or dynamic data where appropriate Standard Reports—Second Phase
