  1. Vastfontein Year-end Photo-letter 2010 Watch this space!! Watch this space!!

  2. 2010 was as year full of new beginnings for Vastfontein. Do take a look at some of the highlights of 2010 and what is waiting for us in 2011......

  3. We got a new soccer field! Vastfontein BKS BKS Consulting Engineers gave us the gift of a soccer field which they themselves kindly came to build. And, on 27 November, they came to inaugurate it!! First National Bank donated a floating trophy as well as all the kit such as sports gear and soccer balls. Vastfontein’s soccer teams have won all three matches – thus winning the floating trophy!

  4. We built two new classrooms. August November On 04 December the staff members of T-Systems came to paint both classrooms. They also did some gardening and planted several trees.

  5. Our Ministry has grown enormously. Fourteen new Care Groups have been formed and soon we’ll be training even more leaders because most of the Care Groups are already big enough to be divided! Our community is really becoming transformed into the likeness of Jesus!!

  6. In our first care home we have five children and the building of the second care home has been completed. The children’s living conditions have improved from this ……

  8. This is the first banquet for our young folk – the outfits came from many of you. You may even recognise a frock or two! Our young people made great spiritual progress during 2010.

  9. Another first in 2010 Some ladies got together and compiled a recipe book using their own recipes. They did the typing and page layouts themselves. They even took most of the photos! This recipe book was sold to raise funds for Vastfontein and the Mama Mary project. The total proceeds: R80,000!!!

VastfonteinStatistics Thank you Lord that in 2010, through You, we were able to serve our neighbour and could help transform our community: We distributed more than 60,245 meals – most of whichatourschoolwhereourlearnersgettwomealsaday; 1,016 individualswereconverted; and 815 patientsvisitedourclinics! This is unmeritedfavourindeed!!

  11. Once again in 2010, it was a year of teamwork at Vastfontein. For your part in it, we say, “Many, many thanks!” You helped with the outreaches …… You played golf in aid of Vastfontein …… You did some painting ….. And some building too ……

  12. planted trees…. You helped create the garden …… you were worn out by all the hard work …… Remember, everyone who prays, encourages, contributes, helps, works or gives has a share in the Vastfontein harvest! And you asked the Lord’s blessing on the work of your hands!

  13. Butwhataboutthenewyear? In November I onceagainretreatedto my sacredplaceundera tree in the veld where I humbled myself beforethe Lord in order topleadwithHimforGuidanceandtohearwhat He desiresforVastfontein in 2011. He clearlyled me toourfocus verse for 2011: Revelation3:8 in the Amplified Version: See, I set before you a wide open door which nobody is able to shut. I am veryexcitedaboutGod’s Word forVastfontein in 2011! I knowthatmanyopportunitiesand open doors are awaitingus. Butthefirst word in ourfocus verse is themost important! Beforeyoucanpassthroughan open door, youhavetobeableto SEE in thespiritualrealm. Anditwillbeextremely important todistinguishbetweenthetrueandfalsedoorsthroughwhich satan wouldlikeusto pass. This is why I inviteyouonceagaintotreadthefuturepathwithusandtoprayfortherightdoorsandopportunitiesto open. Praythat we willhavethe Faith towalkthroughtherightdoors.   14. To God betheGlory! The Lord – andno-oneandnothing else – is the Head of Vastfontein! He hasgivenusHis Word for 2010 and He has been truetoit. It is unmeritedfavouralone! If, during 2011, we submittoHim in humility, He willonceagainbetruetoHis word for 2011. Forallthesereasons, to God andGodalone, we givealltheacknowledgement, honour, praiseandworshipforwhathastakenplaceatVastfonten in 2010 – andwhat is stilltohappen in 2011!
