TESTINGQ: Should you wait to apply or move ahead without new/current test results?
Testing Information SAT I and SAT II • Offered here on Nov 4, March 10, and June 2 • Registration deadline Oct 5 (for Nov. test) • Oct 7 SAT also available @ Hershey (deadline is 9/8) • Can register online www.collegeboard.org • Take SAT II only if required by colleges (can take 3 in one morning) • OK to apply to colleges without fall scores – indicate if you are taking the SATs again on your applications
TESTING - continued ACT • Tests English, math, science, reading and optional writing • Offered at LD on December 9 (deadline: 11/3) • Also offered at HACC on Oct 28 (deadline: 9/22) • Must upload photo on Admission Ticket when you register! And bring photo ID to test site • Register online at www.actstudent.org

MAJOR CHANGE!!! • Seniors and their parents can now apply for financial aid starting in October of the senior year (was Jan 1) • You and your parents can file a FAFSA beginning on Oct 1 • Applicants can use tax information from 2016 • Pay attention to financial aid deadlines at each individual college—they are different from school to school • More financial aid info coming to you in October
