  6. Rough Draft Workshop • Find a partner you trust to review your rough draft • Everyone will switch papers with your partner and go through and correct any formatting mistakes they have. Write your name and “Grader” on the title page of your partner’s paper • We will go through each section together • TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! If we go through the papers later and find the grader did not catch all of the mistakes, then both partners will lose one point off their final paper grade

Rough Drafts • YOU HAVE THREE OPTIONS WITH YOUR ROUGH DRAFT • PICK UP THIS FRIDAY BETWEEN 9 AND 4 • HAVE MAILED TO YOU OVER SPRING BREAK • PICK UP MONDAY AFTER SPRING BREAK WRITE ON THE FRONT OF YOUR ROUGH DRAFT WHEN YOUR WANT IT BACK • All drafts will be placed in your TA’s box on the front desk in Maxwell 102 (PAF office) • Additional Drafts may be turned in later • When you turn in drafts they will be returned on the next “Coplin day” (M,W,F) • Example) Turn in draft Monday, returned Wednesday Turn in draft Tuesday, returned Friday

Rough Draft Process • When you drop-off or pick-up your paper, must sign sheet next to box • Hand-in in your TA’s box (color coded and labeled) • Turn in as many rough drafts as you want, but indicate what has been changed vs. what has already been seen. • Coplin will not read drafts after the Friday (3/29) before your Final Papers are due • THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

Meeting with Coplin • We will not be having class the 2 weeks following Spring Break BUT people have been pre-assigned times to meet one-on-one with Coplin to discuss their project (The list will be emailed out.) • Lauren, Amanda or Ashley will also be available for formatting questions during these times • These meetings are required- you must show up

Appointments with TAs • For formatting, content, computer, translation of Coplin’s handwriting issues (although not a guarantee) • Will be available during regular office hours, class time on Wednesdays, and by appointment on other days of the week • From the week after Spring Break until the report is due, the Ta’s will have special office hours in addition to their normal office hours • Amanda-Friday 3/22- 5:00-9:00 (MAXPAL) Sunday 3/24- 11:30-3:30 (Pages Café in Bird) • Ashley- Monday 3/18 & 3/25- 3:30-5:30 (in MAXPAL) Thursday 3/21 & 3/28 3:30-5:30 (in MAXPAL) • Lauren-Monday 3/18 & 3/25- 7:30pm-9:30pm (in MAXPAL) Sunday 3/31- 2:30-3:30 (Marshall Square Mall)
