16. CMS Contract Renewal info Teachers who did not have a clear license issued when contracts were being offered for 2014-15 school year, were given non renewal letters. Principals can hold the position until Aug 1 if they want. Before contracts are renewed: • Complete all CPCC coursework by Fall of Year 3 • Complete PRAXIS by Fall of Year 3 • Summative (after coursework is complete) must have all Proficient ratings or above • DPI is taking a long time to process paperwork
