  1. Important Dates October 31: Literary character dress-up. As a class we will dress up as characters in Peter Pan. The girls will be Wendy and the boys will be Peter and Michael – so pajamas for everyone! • Pre-K Classroom News • This month we will learn about: • Letters Aa, Pp, Mm, Ss, writing their own names. • Counting 1-10, sorting and organizing objects. • Personal safety and health, properties of objects. • Community helpers, fall, friendship, school and Me • Other • Please work with your child in recognizing the letters in his or her name. • Girls – please wear shorts under your dresses/skirts. • Tennis shoes are always best – sandals and flip flops can be hazardous during PE or recess.

Todos nos disfrazaremos de personajes de Peter Pan--las niñas de Wendy y los niños de Peter o Michael. ¡Piyamas para todos! • Noticias de Pre-Kínder • Lo que aprenderemos este mes: • Letras Aa, Pp, Mm, Ss; escribir su propio nombre • Contar de 1-10, ordenando y categorizando objetos • Seguridad y salud personal, propiedades de objetos • Ayudantes comunitarios, otoño, amistad, la escuela y yo • Otros Asuntos • Favor de ayudar a su hijo a reconocer las letras en su nombre. • Niñas--Favor de usar “shorts” debajo de sus vestidos/faldas. • Recomendamos los tenis– sandalias y chanclas pueden causar accidentes en la educación física o el recreo.
