The NHSGGC Library Intranet provides access to a number of services and resources: • Contact details for all NHSGGC libraries • Access to all services via forms or links to the Library Website including membership, document delivery, Literature Search Requests, and Current Awareness Bulletins • A list of available resources is also available including a list of all current journals including how to access local ejournals, a list of AV Material (CDs, DVDs, Videos etc)

  3. How to access the NHSGGC Library Intranet: Go to the main NHSGGC Intranet and on the top menu select Info Centre then Library www.staffnet/ > Info Centre > Library

  4. Go to http://staffnet/, the Library can be accessed via your customised settings (please note that yours will be different from the one shown above) or Click on Info Centre then Library as shown, note that there are 3 sub folders you can click on to find out more information on libraries, services and resources.

  5. To navigate to the other pages within the Library Intranet use the ‘sub menu’ or the ‘Pages within this Department’ The latest news about the Library Services is provided There are also useful Internet Links such as the library website and the NHS Scotland eLibrary. The main Library Services page provides an introduction to the NHSGGC Library Services

  6. The Libraries page provides a link to all the NHS Libraries in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. To see more click on the link to your local library. Individual Library pages like this one will provide you with more information about your local library including location, opening hours and staffing.

From the journals list page you can navigate to other titles, or to your library for contact details To view the current journals listing click on the link to the first letter of the journal title The Resources page lists information about the main resources available from your library such as books and AV Material (DVDs, CDs, Videos etc) and some others. Also available on the resources page are a listing of all journals the NHSGGC has a current subscription for including the login details for any ejournals we may have.

  8. Through the Services page you will be able to access all the main services provided by your library, either by downloading the print form, or by going to the library website to use the Internet version. So whether you have internet access or not you will still be able to make full use of the library service. If you have any questions about a service you can also go to your local library page to find your librarians contact details.
