  2. Following up on Body of Knowledge from prior years • This year academics were surveyed (College List) • The survey instrument asked participants for the top ten “must reads” for emergency management students

  3. 44 responses received (n= 39) Respondents from both undergraduate and graduate certificate and degree programs 340 total selections Number of selections provided increased dramatically – average was 9 selections 208 list entries total

  4. About 48% of the “must reads” provided were specific to one respondent (single entries) • Compare this to: 2006 (academia) 85% 2007(practitioners) 73% • Could it be that greater consensus on “must reads” is developing?
