Study of the Highway Impacts Due to the Location of Ethanol Facilities • Specifically focuses on the proposed Ethanol & Biodiesel plant at Spiritwood, ND – which will be part of the proposed Spiritwood Energy Park • 100 MGY Ethanol production • 35 MGY Biodiesel production • 50 Megawatt coal electric facility • Analysis includes: • Estimation of the corn basis change as a result of plant location • Estimation of changes in production due to basis change • Modeling commodity flow using a GIS/Cube network analysis • Estimation of the impacts of the incremental traffic on the state, federal, and county systems surrounding the proposed facility
