Shower Parameterization Atlas UK Computing and Offline Meeting 29th August 2002, UCL • Working with Kambiz Mahboubi • Distributes particles energy throughout the ECal and HCal • Depends on particle type and where it hits in cell. • Also implemented Energy Pileup in both ECal and HCal • http://butler.physik.uni-mainz.de/~mahboubi/index.html

Kt Cluserting Algorithm Atlas UK Computing and Offline Meeting 29th August 2002, UCL • KT++ - Versatile Jet Clustering package Many Recombination Schemes Sub-Jet Analysis • Integrated with Atlfast (done, not in release) • Written as a JetRec Package (underway) • Full interaction of Atlfast and JetRec Atlfast-ProtoJet (done) Problems with dependencies

  7. Persistency Atlas UK Computing and Offline Meeting 29th August 2002, UCL • Ran on DC0 persistified HepMC Events • Write AtlfastEvent Objects in ADL Cell Track Jet Reconstructed Particle Cluster • Problems with ADL (maybe fixed?) • Unknown timescale for completion.
