  2. Example1:- 15% of my journey distance is 900 km. What is my total journey distance? Solution Given:- 15% of my journey distance is 900 km Total journey = a km 15% of total journey = 900 (given) 15% of a = 900 60 After dividing 15/100 on both sides = 60 x 100 a = 6000 Ans:- Total journey is 6000km

  3. Example2:- If the price of Oriddhall after 25% increase is Rs70 per kg, find the original price of Oriddhall per kg. Solution Let the Original price be a . Original price + 25% of Original price = New price a + 25 % of a = 70 Because price is increased 4 After adding unlike fraction 14 After dividing 5/4 on both sides a = 14 x 4 = 56 Ans:- The Original price of Oriddhall is Rs 56
