  3. 1. Advisory Speed Limit- Interrupt normal driving speed for a limited time. a. Hills, Curves, school zones

  4. 1.Day and Night- Lower speed limits at night (some states)

  5. 1. Basic Law (all states)- It is illegal to operate a motor vehicle at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent for existing conditions, regardless of posted limits. Determined by: i. Conditions of the road ii. Traffic iii. Weather iv. Light ***Your ability to manage visibility,time and space determines what is a safe speed.
