  2. Interactive Notebook (INB) Set-Up • First, number pages front and back, starting with the very first page as #1. • Put numbers on top outside corner, away from the spiral. Even # Odd #

  4. Main Idea Details 1. Wear safety goggles, gloves and aprons when required. 2. Roll up sleeves and tie back long hair. 3. No food or drinks in the class. 4. Only materials needed for the lab should be on your table.

  5. Main Idea Details 5. Horseplay is never permitted. 6. Read the entire experiment before starting. 7. Only do experiments that your teacher has approved. 8. Never smell, touch, or taste any chemical unless told to.

  6. Main Idea Details 9. Never use broken or cracked glass wear. Wave fumes. 10. Check cords for exposed wires-don’t yank cords out of the wall. 11. When done with the activity, clean up your area. Don’t leave a mess!!!

  7. Main Idea Details 12. Report all accidents to the teacher immediately! ex.Broken glass, spills, burns, etc 13. Know the location and use of safety showers and eyewash stations.
