WhatisGlobalisation? • Is the increased world trade thanks to the integration between international markets due to the better communication, transportation and shrinking of time and space there is nowadays and since 1970, now companies can sell, produce, deliver their products in many other countries much easier than what it used to be thanks to better communication, technology and other factors
Drivers thatledtoGlobalisation • Technology drivers: Thanks to the improved and new technology markets can be spread widely around the world, despite the time and distance there is communication easy, fast and cheap. • Government drivers: Reduced tariff barriers and creation of trade unions helped countries to export and import, therefore market was increased and spread in many countries that maybe before couldn’t import or export.
FactorscontributingtoGlobalisation Capital exchange controls : Money that a multinational company makes in a country can be transferred to hometown country by internet, and virtual banks accounts this means MNC are spreading in many more countries because its much easier for them to exchange the capital Transportation means have improved significantly and now its much easier, cheaper, faster to deliver goods or services through out the world, and the costs of transportation aren't any more high for the companies
AMAZON.COM • This company is a great example of globalization, because thanks to the efficiency of internet and technology they can sell and deliver world wild, thanks to the improved transportation they can send and deliver goods cheap and fast through the countries • Popular culture of buying through the internet helped amazon.com to make more customers of many countries and become much widely well known
