  2. What is Imagine Cup 2006 • Microsoft-sponsored competition for high-school students and university students • Not only programming, but there’s also Web Design and Film-making. So tell your other Faculties!

  3. Categories • Visual Gaming • Software Design • Web Design • Algorithm • Etc.. (needs to check with the website)

  4. Why you should join • Money, money, money!!! • US$8000 for Visual Gaming 1st winner • More than US$10,000 for Software Design • Good for your CV • If you get into Top 30 Worldwide, this is very good for your portfolio! • Make Indonesia proud! • Taufik can do this with his racket, let’s do this with our computers!

Imagine Cup 2005 Recap • My position is 22 out of 160 in Visual Gaming • Because of a wrong assumption, pls don’t make the same mistake like I do  • No practice competition / not able to see how others are doing (this is good to push ppl to do better than others) • No same goal: we should aim for Indonesia to win as no.1 goal.

  6. STT Telkom Team • They won Software Design in Indonesia. • They didn’t win Software Design in Yokohama. Russia won. • More details to contact STT Telkom’s SA.

  7. Conclusion • Winner of Software Design Indonesia will go with me to India  to compete with Software Design Worldwide • This is good for your CV, so join when it opens • “Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita runtuh” – make Indonesia as priority!
