NAESB Versions • Version 1.6 • Published July, 2002. • Texas Market goes live in April, 2004 using v1.6 • Version 1.7 • Published December, 2003. • Version 1.8 • Published September, 2006. • Internet ET “core” guidelines for transport of information. • Quadrant-Specific Electronic Delivery Mechanism. • Version 1.9 • Published September, 2009 Note: Prior version are not mentioned because Texas Market supports minimum of NAESB v1.6

Version 1.7 • Request R03002 – Review version 1.6 and Remove references to actions and dates that have already passed (e.g. 1.1.6, 1.1.8, 1.3.32, 1.3.78, 2.1.5, 4.3.1, 4.3.2 and 7.3.25) • Request C03001 – Request for Clarification/Interpretation of standard. • Use of http HEAD request to Check for Connection status (page 42). • Updates to Appendices. Version 1.8 • Separation of “Core” and “Quadrant Specific” Electronic Delivery Mechanism. • RGQ/REQ Quadrant specific standards version 1.1 published on June 30, 2009. • Addition of “refnum and refnum-orig” to EDM data dictionary. • On February 2009, FERC issued Order No. 587-T, Docket number RM96-1-029 which adopts NAESB version 1.8.

Version 1.9 • No new addition of elements to EDM Data Dictionary. • Add standard regarding decryption response time. • Add standard regarding protecting company proprietary/confidential information. • On November 19, 2009, the FERC issued a NOPR (Notice Of Proposed Rulemaking) to adopt Version 1.9 of the NAESB.
